The Culture capital
Luminous Brands assembled an elite panel of marketing and cultural growth experts to deliver what they titled The Fellowship: a three day masterclass event tailored to branding and marketing leaders who represent corporations such as Chick-Fil-A, Zaxby’s, and Southwest Airlines.
ThE BREAKDOWN

We rode at dawn. Not on horses, but a Lyft. And come to think of it, we didn’t ride out at dawn either. It was a later afternoon. But you get the gist. We were in Fort Worth.
Upon arriving at the hotel that held the conference, we knew that our skillset would be put to the test. Whether it be the sheer scale of the venue (our dinner menus were made of horse hair) or the guest speaker list, the atmosphere called for focus and determination to pull off the greatest event possible. We clicked our tennis shoes together, tipped our invisible cowboy hats, and told them “you hired the right hombres for the job.”
Being a crew of only two, we had to split our time between covering various lectures, breakout sessions, and interviews with panelists. At one point, one of us was in the conference room manning two cinema cameras to film seminars, while the other was in a billiards room interviewing the likes of Greg Hoffman, David Salyers, and Susan Salgado. Event lighting by our talented tech team was used for the event coverage, while diffused and natural lighting shaped the panelists we interviewed, evoking warm tones that are inviting for attendees of the conference to watch later.
The days were long, but unforgettable. Each morning was spent conversing deep topics over breakfast (how often do we forget about chocolate milk?), meeting up with the event staff to discuss the day’s schedule, and then executing our plans. Between the hustle and bustle, we got to talk to some of the attendees, who were beaming with joy over all they got to witness. The nights were capped with fantastic dinners and desserts, granting us a calm before the storm: late night editing in the hotel room. But hey, we got to do it while in complimentary bath robes and slippers.
When it comes to larger scale events such as these, we are typically asked to piece together a recap video that will be showcased at the end. Hours of footage was captured and edited during the course of the two-day conference. Most of which was done with half-opened eyes and enough coffee in our stomachs to energize a gaggle of sloths, but we pulled it off and on the final day we got to witness an uproarious response to it.
Partnership

Highlights from this project include meeting a live longhorn during a cocktail hour (nothing like clinking a glass against a bull horn), observing strange and eclectic artwork in the billiards room, laughing with the event staff, and bearing witness to some incredible speakers from different businesses.
