THE JOURNEY
2016
Our journey began when Devin purchased his first camera, a GoPro Hero 5. It was a truly magical day. After months of capturing random time lapses on his phone, he realized it was time for an upgrade. Soon after, he acquired his first drone and a DSLR, the Canon Rebel t3i, marking another magical day.
2017
In 2017, he established Devin Forbus Creative (DFC), marking the beginning of his journey as a business owner. During the first year, he focused on conducting interviews for his local newspaper, covering college Homecoming events, and primarily capturing weddings.
2020
With the pandemic came a turning point in his career. With all upcoming events cancelled, he shifted to editing real estate videos for a while, until he was contacted by WinShape Camps and asked to come serve their virtual camp. That summer introduced him to some key mentors that took him under their wings, leading him to move away from weddings and into corporate/commercial work.
2021
DFC began to gain momentum after Devin relocated to Atlanta. Between 2021 and 2023, he established partnerships with notable organizations such as Holland Homes, ThriveWorx, WinShape Camps, Driven Brands, and many more.
2023
Devin had always dreamed of having his own space to create. After 6 years in business that dream was realized when he got his own office space in Avondale Estates. Another magical day.
2024
Harrison Dove-Green entered the scene in mid-2024 as Devin's creative partner, ushering in a new era of collaboration. Under this new team, they have expanded their outreach and have developed new client relationships. The sky is the limit for what they can accomplish.
